National Technology Day was observed at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore today. A special online assembly was conducted for the students of the preprimary wing. They were acquainted with the term and shown the various appliances which they find around them. They learnt to make a rope and glasses telephone which they thoroughly enjoyed. Mr. Amol Arora, MD, Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools, was the speaker for the day. He involved the parents of the students in an online quiz as well. A special session was organized with the parents of the Shemstars, guiding them on how to become and make their children tech savvy.
The students of the primary, middle and senior school were assigned projects which they made enthusiastically. Shemstars made portable fans, water dispensers and parachutes as guided and shared the same with their peers in their online groups. ‘Today, we do not use technology, we live technology. It is technology that has made it possible for us to reach out to our students. in their homes during the lockdown’, said Ms. Teenu Jolly, Principal, Shemford Pinjore.
