Guru Purab was celebrated at Shemford Pinjore with religious piety to mark the 552nd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Students conducted a special assembly. Speeches, poems and incidents from the life of the great guru were narrated by the Shemstars, highlighting His contribution towards promoting communal harmony, fraternal love, goodness and virtues among the commoners. Naturopathy Day is also celebrated on 18th Nov .The students were made aware of the drugless system of medicine to prevent diseases by following a healthy and balanced diet and alerting their life style.

SHEMSTARS CELEBRATE RAKSHABANDHAN ONLINE
On the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan Shemstars celebrated the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters for a life time. Using their creativity they made beautiful rakhis and gifts for their siblings with their own hands. They also poured all their love in the heart warming voice messages that they recorded for their brothers and sisters. As Eco warriors Shemstars also, tied rakhis to plants and trees and pledged to protect and save the environment. Little Shemstars had fun learning with an enticing story telling session about the purpose and traditions of this beautiful festival. They made an Oreo pudding as their little endeavour towards “Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye” to add more and more homemade sweetness to the celebrations.
71st REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATED AT SHEMFORD, PINJORE
Republic Day was celebrated at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Tricolour was unfurled on the auspicious occasion. Lt. Gen. K.J. Singh, PVSM, AVSM & Bar (Veteran) presided over the function. The programme began with a speech by the School Head Ms Teenu Jolly who reiterated that it was a joint responsibility of both parents and school to lay a strong foundation for grooming responsible citizens of the country. Speeches were delivered and poems were recited that depicted the patriotic fervor of the young Shemstars. The school choir presented patriotic songs. A mesmerizing dance was also presented to mark the occasion. All hearts swelled with pride when they took the national pledge.
The Shemstars who had been achievers in various co-curricular activities at inter house, inter school and CBSE level were felicitated by the chief guest.
Lt Gen K.J. Singh in his address to the gathering acquainted the young children of the borders that our country shares with her neighboring countries. He said that it is important to know the country well so as to be able to take care of it.
CELEBRATIONS AT SHEMFORD
Celebrations were in full swing at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore with Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan on the same day. All hearts swelled with pride when the Tiranga fluttered high. The National Anthem echoed in the valley and resounded the faith of Unity in Diversity. Also, Raksha Bandhan has always been a long awaited festival at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. A special assembly was conducted wherein the serenity and importance of Raksha Bandhan was shared with all. The message that Rakhi is a sacred thread of affectionate bond woven with love and care was effectively conveyed through a beautifully enacted skit. Prior to the day several week long activities were organized for the students to exhibit their love and affection for their siblings. The students of the Pre Primary and Primary wing were involved in decorating and colouring rakhi, thali decoration and making of rakhis for their brothers. It was indeed a treat to the eyes to see little hands at work for their dear brothers. With the preparation of thali for the festival, the roots of the rich heritage and culture of our country are strengthened in the youth of today. The students of the middle school and senior school participated in various activities like Hindi declamation, and class discussion on the importance of siblings in our lives. The keen approach to step forward and participate in such activities reflects the pious souls of our children.
The 10th Edition of ShemEmpower Residential Teachers’ Training Programme Concluded on a Grand Note

SHEMFORD Group of Futuristic Schools, one of South Asia’s fastest growing school chains, held the 10th ShemEmpower Annual Residential Teachers’ Training Programme from 24th June 2019 to 27th June 2019 at its Pinjore campus. The Training Programme concluded with a Grand Culmination Ceremony with more than 200 School Heads & Teachers from SHEMROCK & SHEMFORD Branches as participants.
The 4-day Training Programme empowered the participants about the latest teaching methodologies through interactive modules and sessions. Furthermore, to rejuvenate the participants, several recreational activities like Yoga, Aerobics, Excursions, Trekking, Gym, Gala Party, etc. were also organized. The environment was uplifted with Brahmkumari Sister Neha’s Session on ‘Emotional Intelligence’.
The Culmination Ceremony was presided over by Dr. R. C. Mishra (IPS), Additional Director General of Police Additional Director General of Police (Vigilance) Haryana. His feelings were evident through his words, “I am glad to be a part of the ceremony and want to congratulate SHEMFORD & SHEMROCK Group of Schools on the successful culmination of the Training Programme. The Group has made a positive contribution by equipping the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective classroom teaching experiences.”
