शैमफर्ड फयूचरिस्टिक स्कूल्स, शैमराॅक की सीनियर स्कूल चेन, दक्षिण एशिया के सबसे तेज़ी से बढ़ते स्कूल श्रृंखलाओं में से एक है। समूह ने अपने पिंजौर परिसर में 10वीं शैमएमपावर आवासीय शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का भव्य उद्घाटन किया। कार्यक्रम का आधिकारिक रूप से आदरणीय मुख्य अतिथि मेजर जनरल सुनील चंद्रा, पूर्व प्रबंध निदेशक – आर्मी वेलफेयर एजुकेशन सोसाइटी ने शैमफर्ड फयूचरिस्टिक स्कूल, पिंजौर परिसर में उद्घाटन किया। साथ ही प्रोफेसर संजय गुप्ता, कुलपति, वल्र्ड यूनिवर्सिटी आॅफ डिज़ाइन विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उद्घाटन समारोह में शामिल हुए। 4-दिवसीय व्यापक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में देश भर के शैमफर्ड और शैमराॅक शाखाओं के 200 से अधिक स्कूल प्रमुखों और शिक्षकों द्वारा भाग लिया जा रहा है।

यह उद्घाटन समारोह इसलिए भी खास था क्योंकि इस साल शैमफर्ड और शैमराॅक ग्रुप आॅफ स्कूल्स के 30 साल और ग्रुप के सीनियर स्कूल श्रृंखला – शैमफर्ड फयूचरिस्टिक स्कूल के 10 साल पूरे हो गए हैं। इस समारोह में नए शैमफर्ड Logo को लाॅन्च किया। साथ ही समूह ने शैमफर्ड फयूचरिस्टिक स्कूल की नई वेबसाइट भी लाॅन्च की।

Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, celebrated Mothers’ Day where mothers of the Shemstars had a momentous experience of watching their children performing exclusively for them.  Various activities were conducted, class wise, to make all the mothers of every Shemstar feel special and blessed. The students of the Pre Primary wing stole the show with their innocent expressions in a beautiful dance performance, while the students of the Primary and the Middle School brought tears to the eyes of all through their beautiful songs and dance items expressing their love and gratitude to their mothers. A thought provoking skit was also enacted, watching which, the mothers were overwhelmed with emotions. It was a fun filled day for the mothers as various activities like ramp walk, dance performances and fun games were organized. They all got a platform to exhibit their thoughts, expressions and talents, and of course, relive their childhood. The jubilance of the day increased manifold when certificates for Excellence in Academics of the Star Achievers for the session 2018-2019 and certificates of appreciation were given to the winners of co-curricular activities conducted in the months of April and May were given..

The mother of Shemford, Pinjore, Dr. Mrs. Bimla Arora, Director, Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, left the gathering spellbound with her mothering tips. She also congratulated all the mothers on this special occasion.

The students of Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore brought laurels to the school with meritorious results in class X and class XII board examination.

Mansi Joshi topped the school by scoring an overall of 96.8% marks followed by Sujal Aggarwal at 95.4%, Riya Manish Shah at 93.8%, Shaunak Gupta at 93.6%, Bhavya Bhalla at 92.8%, Samiya Sharma at 91.8% and Ayushi Garg  at 91%.

Mansi Joshi and Sujal Aggarwal scored 100% marks in S.St while Riya Manish Shah, Sujal Aggarwal, Shaunak Gupta and Bhavya Bhalla scored 100% marks in Foundation of Information Technology.

The Shemstars who scored 90% and above were also applauded for their meritorious results. In English, Ayushi Garg topped the list with 96% marks followed by Sujal Aggarwal at 94%, Bhavya Bhalla at 94%, Shaunak 93%, Mansi 92%, Anshita 91% and Shreyam, Harshit, Azra and Aakriti scored 90% marks.

In Hindi, Shagun took the lead with 97% marks, Ayushi and Mansi 96%, Riya 95%, Sujal and Azra 94%, Nikhil 93%, Aayush, Yuveraj and Rahul 91% and Priyam 90% marks.

The Shemstars made their alma mater proud with their performance in Mathematics. Shaunak Gupta scored as high as 99%, Mansi and Shreyam were at 98%, Riya, Yuvraj, Samiya, Parth, Maninder, Rhythm, Saanvie, Adarsh, Srishti and Saksham scored 95%, Sujal and Sarthak scored 94%, Bhavya 92%, Nikhil 91% while Maanik, Harshit and Anirudh score 90% marks.

The Science list was topped by Mansi with 98% marks while Shaunak, Riya, Adarsh, Sujal and Bhavya Bhalla scored 95% marks.

As many as 31 students scored 90% and above in S.St. Riya Manish Shah, Samiya and Ayushi score 98%, Aayush Thakur 97%, Nikhil and Bhawani 96%, Shaunak, Adarsh, Bhavya, Saksham,Shreyam, Rahul, Shagunand Parth Garg scored 95% Sarthak, Vanshika, Pawan and Parth Sarthi scored 94%Nivedita, Mahir and Anirudh 93%, Gurwinder, Anshita and Aryan 92%,Yuvraj and Tanya 91% and Adweitiya, Priyam and Rishabh scored 90% marks.

The Shemstars have well proved that they are tech savvy with their fabulous marks in Foundation of Information Technology. Mansi, Samiya and Shreyam scored 99, Yuvraj 98, Aayushi 97, Piyush and Ujjwal 96, Aayush Thakur and Nikhil 95, Aadarsh and Maanik at 94, Azra 92, bhawani and Rhythm 91 and Parth Garg scored 90% marks.

In class 12, Nishita Goyal topped the Science Stream scoring 91.8% marks while the Commerce and Humanities Streams were topped by Rishab Bansal, 86.4% and Natasha Singh, 88.2% respectively. Bhavesh Kumar and Janvi were at the second and third positions in the Science stream while Yuveraj Dhara and Aditi Kumari were close at heels with the toppers in the Commerce and Humanities streams As many as 33% students scored more than 90% marks in various subjects .

The Management, Principal and Staff congratulated the Shemstars on their brilliant performance.

‘A book is a gift one can open again and again’. With each important day being observed with gravity, a weeklong activity schedule was designed for the Shemstars at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, on account of International Book Day.  Books being the best friend and guide for every student, this week was given due importance. Special assembly was conducted in which the students were motivated to inculcate the good habit of reading. Various activities like storytelling, finding and learning proverbs and idioms, story writing, poem recitation, making book marks, designing book covers, poster making  were  conducted class wise.  The week culminated with a three day book exhibition organized in the school premises which was a grand success. The Keen Shemstars eagerly added books to their private libraries.

‘Mother of all the mothers is in great despair, she needs our love and care’, was the keynote of the Earth Day celebrations in the school.  The students expressed this motif through various Inter House Competitions. Poems were recited and compositions were written on thought provoking pictures. It is believed that children learn by doing. ‘Best out of Waste’ brought out many ways of reusing the waste material effectively which proved to be a practical lesson for the young Shemstars. This thought and theme was also expressed by compiling beautiful and colourful scrap files filled with posters and pictures depicting the plight that mother earth is undergoing. Beautiful collages were also made by them. A quiz based on Earth Day and  speeches to spread awareness among their fellow students was the contribution made by the seniors students. The tiny tots of Shem Foundation were taken for a nature walk around the beautiful gardens in the school campus. They were also shown how to germinate seeds in tiny pots. Principal, Ms. Amita Dhaka encouraged the students to plant a seed on every birthday, it would be in this way that they could invest oxygen for their own future. She said “Save the earth in your own little way.”

To help the Shemstars become responsible citizens of the world when they grow up, the importance of our heritage was emphasized upon on the World Heritage Day at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. Cultural richness is something to be cherished and adopted was the message given to the children the Principal, Ms. Amita Dhaka. A special assembly comprising of speech, poems and amazing facts was conducted. Inter House Declamation competition and Inter House Quiz Competitions were also organized.

 

The tiny tots of the Pre Primary wing participated in the Heritage races which was a unique and effective way to acquaint them with the important monuments of India. The Shemstars of classes 1 and 2 were taken to the Yadvindra gardens to mark the day. The Yadvindra garden is a historic 17th century garden located in Pinjore. It is an example of Mughal architectural design.

 

“We will preserve and take care of our inherited wealth- be it the monuments, literature or the customs”, the children vowed.

SHEMFORD PINJORE CELEBRATES BAISAKHI

It was a cherished morning at Shemford Pinjore, when the Shemstars greeted one another on the onset of the new year, Baisakhi. The Shemstars of the Primary and Pre Primary wing brought into the premises all the hues of life being clad in bright Punjabi attire. Beautiful dances presented by them left the audience enthralled. Speeches and poems were also delivered to enlighten them about the reason to celebrate this event.

The Shemstars paid homage to the martyrs by depicting their sacrifices through a beautifully enacted skit which filled everybody’s eyes with tears. The silence that prevailed in the school hall after the skit seemed to announce the commitment of the Shemstars towards their motherland. This Baisakhi also marked the hundred years of the massacre at Jallianwala Bagh in 1919.

To honour the principal architect of the Constitution of India, Dr. B R Ambedkar, speeches were delivered in his honour and a quiz was conducted on the life and works of the great personality. The Principal, Ms Amita Dhaka guided the students to understand their responsibility towards the nation and adhere to the Constitution of India in true spirit. She also conveyed her greetings and a prosperous new year to the Shemstars and their families.

‘It is health that is real wealth, not pieces of gold and silver’ – was the message conveyed in the morning assembly by the young Shemstars at Shemford, Pinjore. Stressing upon the theme, ‘Smoke Free World’ of World Heath Day for the year 2019, Dr Shashi Gupta guided the young children to keep their surroundings smoke free to live a healthy life.

A group discussion was organized for the senior students with the doctor at school to mark the event. The Shemstars of the Primary Wing participated enthusiastically in the inter house collage making competition while the students of the middle school came prepared with declamations and power point presentations on the theme of the day. The students of classes 1 & 2 eagerly participated in a fancy dress competition marking the day in their own little way. After the day’s events the Shemstars could gather the message that – ‘To keep the body in good health is a duty, and to do so it is important to keep the environment pollution free- smoke free.’

An orientation session was conducted at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, for the parents who are new to the Shemforsd family. At Shemford, it is strongly believed that both teachers and parents play an important role in the growth and development of the children and its only through open communication, fruitful discussions and active participation of both that we are able to lay a strong foundation for them. This was the underlying theme of the orientation programme held for the parents which began with a melodious welcome song by the school choir.

 

Principal, Ms Amita Dhaka said that it was an endeavour to acquaint the parents with ShemEdumaxTM, the unique research based child friendly curriculum of Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools developed and improved at its R&D Office at New Delhi.

 

The Orientation Program was graced by Dr. Mrs Bimla Arora the Director of Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore.

The parents were steered through the methodologies adopted at Shemford to strike a balance between work and play. They were acquainted with the activities, system schedule and ERP system that bridges the gap between home and school, the assessment system, and the sports facilities available in the school sports complex. Apart from this, the beautiful journey through the Pre Primary Wing brought contagious smiles on their faces.

 

Dr. Mrs. Bimla Arora, left the audience captivated with her speech which focussed around Parenting Tips and how effectively parents can contribute to the unique curriculum, ShemEdumaxTM to help their children grow up to be not only successful citizens but also good human beings. The contentment of having made a right choice of school at the end of the programme confirmed that such interactive sessions are definitely beneficial.

An orientation session was organized at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore for the teachers before the commencement of the new session. This informative session was about the latest approaches in the teaching – learning pedagogy. Teachers were oriented about various futuristic methods of teaching the new generation tech savvy children. The session led to the ignition of a positive attitude among the teachers towards the multitude ways of teaching students and to manage the classes so that learning comes alive and each child gets personal attention and becomes a shining star.

Another workshop was conducted by psychologist, Tanvi Seth from Fortis, Mohali. It was an interactive session on management skills of teachers and students wherein easy ways to cope with different type of role & responsibilities were discussed.

Dr. Mrs. Bimla Arora, Director, Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, who is also a Nutritionist, added that a healthy mind rests in a healthy body. Balanced diet and positive attitude are imperative for a healthy mind, which is the key factor to living a healthy and happy life
