Basant Panchmi was celebrated at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. A special assembly was conducted by the students. Saraswati Vandana and poems were recited in praise of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge. Shalokas were also chanted on the pious occasion. Chairman, Dr D R Arora, Director, Dr Mrs Bimla Arora and School Head, Ms Teenu Jolly followed by all present in the school hall offered prayers to the deity seeking blessings for knowledge and wisdom. Sweets were also distributed to all the students after the prayers.

71st REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATED AT SHEMFORD, PINJORE
Republic Day was celebrated at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Tricolour was unfurled on the auspicious occasion. Lt. Gen. K.J. Singh, PVSM, AVSM & Bar (Veteran) presided over the function. The programme began with a speech by the School Head Ms Teenu Jolly who reiterated that it was a joint responsibility of both parents and school to lay a strong foundation for grooming responsible citizens of the country. Speeches were delivered and poems were recited that depicted the patriotic fervor of the young Shemstars. The school choir presented patriotic songs. A mesmerizing dance was also presented to mark the occasion. All hearts swelled with pride when they took the national pledge.
The Shemstars who had been achievers in various co-curricular activities at inter house, inter school and CBSE level were felicitated by the chief guest.
Lt Gen K.J. Singh in his address to the gathering acquainted the young children of the borders that our country shares with her neighboring countries. He said that it is important to know the country well so as to be able to take care of it.
SHEMFORD TALENT OLYMPIAD
Shemford Talent Olympiad, a unique plethora of competitions was organised at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. This Olympiad was a very thoughtfully designed package of activities to identify and explore the talent and expertise of students in stage, art and smart activities.
The activities were conducted in varied categories for different age groups. It was a treat to the eyes to see the enthusisatic children exhibit their skills in this event. Fun games like Abracadabrus and Rubereka were a pleasant surprise to the children gathered for the event. The lucky dip with its extravagant gift hamper was a major attraction of the event.
A special session on Health and Wellness was organised for the parents who had accompanied the children for the event. Alongwith various fun games they also enjoyed participating in recipe writing and penning down home remedies for general ailments. Director of the school and Nutritionist, Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla Arora, in her address to the gathering said that at Shemford, though we have a global outlook, our roots are deeply embedded in rich Indian heritage which we treasure and endeavour to forward to our youth. They were also awarded for their efforts. All the parents were given seed balls as take aways as an endeavour to contribute to making the environment clean and green.
School Head, Ms Teenu Jolly congratulated the parents for joining hands with the school and participating with their children. Such self motivation is a postive step in the grooming of an all rounder and confident child which has always been the aim of Shemford, to make every child a star, a Shemstar.
Shemstars Celebrate Christmas at Shemford, Pinjore
Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore celebrates all festivals and events with great zeal and enthusiasm. X’mas is one of the most awaited because Santa visits the school with his bagful of goodies and shares happy moments with the Shemstars.
A week long X’mas celebration was organized in the school in which a no. of activities like bunting making, paper curtain making, gift wrapping, greeting cards making etc. were held. The students decorated their classes tastefully with handmade decorations. It was a treat to the eyes to see the children working in perfect coordination and harmony to decorate their class rooms.
The Nativity scene was enacted by the students. The school choir sang melodious carols like Silent Night, Gloria, Long time ago etc. Junior Shemstars performed foot tapping dances.
Happiness and excitement spread all around as Santa distributed sweets among the students merrily dancing with them. In her address to the gathering, Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla Arora, Director, Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, lauded the efforts of the students and said that it was very important to maintain communal harmony and celebrate all festivals with fervor while Principal- Ms. Teenu Jolly acquainted the children with lesser known facts on Christmas. They wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

LITTLE SHEMSTARS VISIT THE YADVINDRA GARDEN
The tiny tots of the Pre Primary wing of Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore went to the Yadvindra Gardens for a day long picnic. It was a spectacle to watch the little Shemstars running around in the beautiful gardens joyfully. They enjoyed playing different games together with their teachers and friends. They also enjoyed sharing the finger licking picnic tiffin’s that each one had brought. It was an enjoyable day for all the Shemstars.
Constitution Day Observed at Shemford Pinjore
A special assembly was observed at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, to mark the Constitution Day. The assembly began with a thought proving quote to create interest and awareness among young Shemstars to abide by the constitution of the nation. Poems were recited and speeches were delivered to emphasize the relevance and significance of the day. A skit was also enacted by the students depicting secularism as one of the important aspects of our democracy. The Preamble was read out to the assembly by the school cabinet and the Fundamental Rights and duties were read out by the School Head Boy.
Dr. Mrs. Bimla Arora, Director, Shemford Pinjore was overwhelmed with the participation and efforts of the team. She said that the school cabinet is formed every year with a motive to let the students get acquainted and accustomed to the norms of the constitution at the school level itself. She also emphasized that in order to enjoy the fundamental rights, one must strive to perform ones fundamental duties as well. ‘After all before you ask the country to do something for you, ask yourself what you have done for the nation’.
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebrated at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore
‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ was observed with great fervor and enthusiasm at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, on 31st October, 2019. The day was marked by a plethora of activities in the school to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation. ‘A walk for Unity’ was organized for the students. Students from classes 1 to 3 participated in story telling competition on the topic ‘Unity is Strength’. Classes 4 to 6 participated in paragraph writing while poster making and slogan writing was organized for classes 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 respectively. The day culminated with a special documentary for the students on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

THE SPECTACULAR SHEM SPECTURM
The Shemstars of Shemford Futuristic School Pinjore mesmerized the audience with their spectacular performance at their first Annual Function – SHEM SPECTRUM. The school was honoured to have Lt Gen K.J. Singh, PVSM, AVSM & Bar (Veteran) as the Chief Guest. The function was also graced by the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Directors of Shemford.
The function began with the ceremony of lighting of the lamp by the guests. The applause for the welcome by the school choir and school band confirmed the beginning of a spectacular programme. The blessings of the Lord were sought with a beautiful prayer dance. With an endeavour to portray the system of Shemford, a multihued cultural program was prepared by students from various classes. It was a treat to the eyes watching the little Shemstars of the Pre – Primary Wing tapping to the tunes of different rhymes they had been taught through the year. The depiction of the sixteen pillars that lay the foundation of ShemEduMax, truly enraptured the parents. Presentations of Shem Sanskars and Sports was a reflection of how Shemford aims to groom the Shemstars – energetic, enthusiastic and competent with their roots deeply embedded in the rich Indian heritage. The regional and international dances were symbolic of the presence of the fast spreading chain of Shemford Group of Schools through the entire nation and beyond. The spirit of patriotism vowed to better the future of India manifold. The echoes of applauses for Bhangra and Grand Finale resounded in the valley for long.
Principal, Ms Amita Dhaka, in her Annual Report, highlighted the vision, mission awards, accolades and achievements of the school and students on various platforms. The greatest reward was the feeling of contentment among parents who had chosen the right school for their children.
Chief Guest Lt. Gen. K. J. Singh, in his address to the gathering motivated the parents to broaden their horizons and support and motivate their children to choose a career in life that they shall be able to follow passionately.
Vice Chairman, Mr. Amol Arora, who is also Asia’s most sought after edupreneur confirmed that ShemEduMax designs and frames its curriculum such that Shemford is able to raise dynamic, confident and responsible children for tomorrow.

JANMASHTMI CELEBRATED AT SHEMFORD, PINJORE
Janmashtmi was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore. The students of the Middle and Senior school conducted a theme based assembly with speeches, poems, facts, enactments and dances depicting the life of Lord Krishna. Story on the life of Lord Krishna and his teachings to mankind marked the informative phase of the celebration.
There was joy, fervour, zeal and enthusiasm in the campus with the little Shemstars of the Pre Primary wing dressed up as Radhas and Krishans all set to participate in the ‘matki breaking’ ceremony. They also stole the show in the assembly with their mesmerizing ramp walk. Various classroom activities like pot and flute decoration, colouring and decorating activity sheets were also organized.
Dr Mrs Bimla Arora, Director, SFS, Pinjore, in her address to the assembly emphasized on the teachings of lord Krishna and told the children- that work itself is the highest form of worship. One must perform one’s duties and results will follow. She congratulated all the Shemstars on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtmi.
