It was with this spirit that the students dressed in new uniforms spread freshness and positivity in the entire premises. The morning sun shone bright on the students of Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore when they gathered for the first assembly. At Shemford – where every child is a STAR, children are groomed to pave their own path, where, ‘Learning comes Alive’.
For an auspicious inception, on the 1 st of April, a prayer meeting was held in the school premises. The morning assembly on Monday, began by seeking the blessings of Lord Almighty by chanting prayers after which the Principal, Ms Amita Dhaka addressed the students. In her welcome speech she said that she was happy to lead the Shemstars into the sparkling world of Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools because, only they progress who are responsive to positive changes. This was followed by Ganesh Vandana, a beautiful dance performance by young Shemstars. The gathering was left spellbound when Ms Meenakshi Mohan expressed her views about the novel school in her beautifully composed poem ‘ Shemford- Humara Abhiman’.The tiny tots put their best foot forward in an exciting dance number ‘Deep deep deep’ giving the Shemstars a hint about the excitement they should look forward to in the new school. The gathering was rapt when the School Song resounded in the valley. A wave of new zeal seemed to drift in the entire arena with the melodious choir.
A dream does not become a reality only through magic, it claims sweat, determination and hard work- was the message given to the Shemstars by Dr Mrs. Bimla Arora, the Founder Director of Shemrock preschools and Associate Director of Shemford Group of Schools, on the first day. The students were guided to make the best of the facilities provided by the school to outshine in life. Teachers were also made to attend an online orientation programme and training workshop from R&D Head Office, New Delhi on Saturday before the session began. After singing the National Anthem in chorus, sweets were distributed among all following which the young Shemstars walked back to their classes all set to pave their path at Shemford.
